Hi, I’m Nabilah and I think we could all use a little help and support.I've spent the last 8 years working as a therapist and counsellor in Singapore, across community and private settings, with an integrative approach that meets you as a whole person. My specialisation is trauma-based work, and in practice I draw on IFS (Internal Family Systems), DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).I'm committed to providing therapy that's inclusive, accessible, and culturally sensitive, meeting you with empathy and compassion for the wounds that come simply from being human. I hold space for people across all cultures, races, gender identities, sexual orientations, spiritual beliefs, and lived experiences.
Who I work with
I work with adults between the ages of 20 - 50 navigating:Trauma and past experiences(e.g. difficult childhoods, past relationships, traumatic events)Minority stress(e.g. discrimination, feeling like an outsider, navigating identity in unsupportive spaces)Hormonal and reproductive health(e.g. hormonal imbalances, PCOS/PMOS, grief around pregnancy loss, fertility journeys including IVF, perimenopause and menopause)Burnout and feeling disconnected from yourself(e.g. exhaustion, running on empty, loss of direction, purpose, and meaning)Patterns that keep you small(e.g. people-pleasing, harsh self-talk, difficulty setting boundaries)Struggles in how you connect with others(e.g. attachment wounds, over-giving, needs that go unmet)

What clients say
"Nabilah took in my initial emotional state and charted a course to resolve my underlying triggers and lift my confidence. She guided me through 'parts' therapy to understand sides of myself I hadn't given a voice to. I was surprised by how many out-of-the-box, yet practical recommendations she gave me for my particular challenges. With her thoughtful recommendations and plenty of space to talk, I always felt like she was going above and beyond. I feel more confident and equipped to stand up for my needs."
"It has been a wonderful journey. I've never felt so comfortable pouring everything out to someone I thought was a stranger, but who became my most trusted person. She is compassionate and empathetic, and navigates every issue I bring so well. I've made huge progress over the past 2 years."
"I never thought I would proceed past my first session, but I'm glad I took that step. From the very beginning, her presence was calm and composed, and it was easy to open up to her. I learnt so much about myself and was able to regulate my emotions through the methods she taught me, and my husband even noticed I'd gotten better at coping with stress. She's generous with resources, and remembers everything I've shared, so I never had to repeat my story. I felt like I was talking to a long-time friend. She never once dismissed my feelings, and I know I'll be okay even after our last session, because she's given me the knowledge and resources to cope on my own."
"I cannot speak highly enough of Nabilah as a counsellor and therapist. From the very beginning, she created a safe and welcoming space to explore my emotions and understand what was truly going on within me. Her approach is both compassionate and insightful, helping me crystallize my feelings and reactions to various situations. She consistently promotes self-kindness and empowers me to find the courage to make decisions and take meaningful action. Every session leaves me feeling lighter and more inspired, and her grounded presence has been invaluable during some of the toughest times I've faced."
